Fr. Keith Fennessy: Brings Radical Changes to St. Columba Parish in New York !

Father Fennessy had served as pastor of St. Margaret Mary, Staten Island, since 2006. Before that, he was administrator of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Benedicta, Staten Island, 2005-2006, and parochial vicar of St. Peter’s, Staten Island, 2004-2005. He also was pastor of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral and Most Holy Crucifix, Manhattan, 1998-2002, where he previously was administrator for a year. He was director of mission development and pastoral services at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center, Manhattan, 1993-1997, and chaplain at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, 1992-1993. He served as parochial vicar of St. Columbanus, Peekskill; Sacred Heart, Suffern; and St. Gabriel’s, the Bronx. He studied for the priesthood at St. Joseph’s Seminary and was ordained in 1984.
