Bishop Kevin Vann: Our Father Convivance with St. Joachim NCW Community

A wonderful weekend with our Catechist Giuseppe & Claudia, Father Angelo, Fernando, Bishop Kevin Vann, Father Michael Hanifin, and Father Randy Guillen, during Our Father weekend!

It’s been over 20 years walking with my community and we all have been through allot in the Way, living a journey with Christ. However, as catechumenates, each one of us have collaborated in the evangelization in some ways back to our community and families that have actually helped in building up the Church.

Above all, the catechumen’s decision to live a Christian vocation has become an effective witness for others to see as well as the Bishop’s around the world as a value for their Diocese. Not to say, it has been an easy task! Actually, it's been a Cross for me, ...One that I hope God may speak loudly into my Ears for continued grace and mercy.

..."For this reason, before the handing over of
the “Our Father”, the neocatechumens make a
pilgrimage to a Marian Shrine to welcome the
Virgin Mary as Mother

and to profess their faith at the tomb of Saint Peter and make an act
of adherence to the Holy Father."
